The 19th Introductory Course in Genetic Counseling in Oncology in Lausanne is an educational 1.5-day course and is held under the auspices of the CPTC network of the Swiss Cancer Institute.
High-quality speakers will teach the basics and principles of genetic counseling for hereditary
breast and ovarian cancer, as well as other cancer syndromes. You will hear from national and
international experts on interpreting genetic variants and managing patients with a genetically
determined increased risk of cancer. Additionally, you will learn how to navigate reimbursement
demands.
The course intended for medical doctors of various subspecialties, nursing professionals and other health care professionals involved in genetic counseling in oncology from all parts of the country.
The course language is English.
